Graham Hancock & History

History is a story; it’s a narrative, which is being told to us and the sole possession of that narrative has been handed over to a professional class: the historians and the archaeologists. They effectively have a grip on the story of our past and they deliver it to us through the schools and through the universities and it is what we are taught is the fact of our past. And we should never forget that it isn’t a fact, it is a story and the further back you go in prehistory, the slimmer the actual evidence upon which the story is based can be found.
